The Short Version
Twenty years in communications. A business I built from nothing — PR Couture, which grew into one of the most recognized global platforms for fashion and lifestyle PR professionals, with more than 100k practitioners in its orbit.
I wrote a book. I delivered keynotes. I built courses, created an industry award program, led a conference. In 2022, I sold it — burned out on the subject matter, proud of what it was, ready for what was next.
What I discovered afterward: most of the problems I'd spent two decades helping people solve with strategy, positioning, and messaging were actually identity problems. Strategy helped — but something was still missing, because the work of knowing yourself more fully doesn't happen in your head.
So I trained in somatic inquiry. Now I work with founders, leaders, and teams helping them close the gap between who they say they are and how they actually show up. I also occasionally lead a somatic dance-off to Rage Against the Machine with fifty midlife women. It works better than you'd think.

A biannual independent print magazine for women in and around midlife. There's a real "not your mother's midlife" groundswell happening in my generation, and a steady revival in independent print — Midriff sits at the intersection of both.
After twenty years in digital, I wanted to make something with a longer shelf life than a feed. PR Couture worked because everyone in it got something out of it together. I'm building Midriff the same way.
